Phew, That's Better!

I can now look at this painting without needing my sun glasses!

Sadly the photography doesn't always do the colours justice. This green is a lovely olive/sage colour (the other colours are cream and brown, in case you can't tell). I've fiddled with the photograph slightly, so hopefully the colours are more true to life now.

I'm told that when I said I didn't like the shade, what I really meant is that I didn't like the tone! Thank you Anita!

I agree with Rosa, this is quite nice. You may have stated this already, but how big is it?

Oops, I found it now in the previous post. Sorry. Darn metric system. Truthfully I still don't have a clue what size it is. You would have thought the US would have come around to measuring things like the rest of the world by now, huh?

Hehehe, Mona I struggle with metric too and I was brought up with it!

They're 15 1/2 inches x 19 1/2 inches each canvas. I tend to always use the same size canvas because I know a place where I can get them at a bargain price!

I love the simplicity of this and the greens are so soothing.

I left England before they went metric, and now I have a devil of a time when I come home. People look at me like I am daft because I sound English, but I don't act it and seem dumb with measurements lol!

Thank you Jafabrit :) It looks very nice against my soft peach bathroom walls!

I remember in the news not too long ago a market stall owner got a criminal record - because he priced his fruit and veg using imperial weights instead of metric! (I can't remember if he had to go to prison or if he had to pay a whopping great fine) So we'd better wise up before we're branded as criminals!

Thank you Leanne :)

These ones seem to be very popular with everyone! A fiend of mine told me she liked it before I had even laid the third painting out!

I'm glad people like them because I still have another 6 ideas to paint!!
