I don't really have a name for this project. Maybe I should call it the "Green Woman" Vase? (Although it's looking more like a man than I had intended) Or maybe the "Foliate head" Vase would be more appropriate as it's less gender specific?
Anyway, here's a couple of photo updates. I didn't do much of it this evening, but I've carved in the tree bark...

Just a few leaves and flowers and it will be done :)

OK now I am getting excited about this piece. I love the texture and her hair...she looks like a tree fairy extraordinaire! Hurry up and finish it (no just kidding, but pease post progress).

Kathy, you're in luck! I woke up early this morning and couldn't get back to sleep, so I finished the tree fairy! (great name for it, by the way!)
Dinner's in the oven and I think I have just about enough time to get the pictures up!
